Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Address inquiries from customer service representatives, field sales representatives, and end user customers by providing technical and commercial support. Provide liaison and coordination between engineering, manufacturing, sales, and other functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain expert level of product knowledge and application.
Provide training and technical presentations for internal and external audiences as needed.
Provide design and specification development support to product engineering, new product development team and manufacturing.
Analyze market and customer data and trends to determine market pricing levels.
Develop marketing and technical documents in collaboration with the internal Marketing / Communications team.
Provide recommendations on application of products.
Provide recommendations on potential new products, product modifications and product extensions based on market needs.
Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives.
Skills and Experience
BS in engineering required, mechanical preferred
Proactive, innovative, solution-oriented
Must possess strong written and oral communication skills.
Must have proven ability to meet project objectives and time lines.
Must be a strong team player.
Must possess strong ambition, drive and motivation to succeed.
Must be able to travel up to 25% as needed.
Must be proficient in Microsoft office
Product line management / New product development experience
Experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment
SAP/BI/BE experience a plus
Bachelors Degree in Engineering General
