We are looking for qualified candidates with a bachelor’s degree in biochemical/biological engineering or biological sciences with highly relevant skills and bioprocess manufacturing experience. We are specifically interested in engineers with at least 1-3 years of experience in cell culture (upstream) GMP manufacturing. There is a high preference for the candidate to be familiar with disposable technology such single use bioreactors. The candidate will be expected to work in cell culture and on purification processes for protein manufacturing. These operations include, but are not limited to, media preparation, single use bioreactors, column chromatography and perfusion technology. The selected candidate will be asked to assist with process development and transfer/scale-up to achieve cost effectiveness and improved product quality. They will need to interface with various departments to ensure processes and designs are compatible for new product technology transfer and to establish future process and equipment automation technology. Experience in the preparation and delivery of oral and written presentations as well as participation in the creation/drafting of SOPs and batch records is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to analyze and interpret data, design appropriately controlled experiments independently, and maintain cGMP documentation are a must.

- Bachelor’s in biochemical/biological engineering or biological sciences is preferred
