Responsible for requirement gathering, documenting and communicating systems requirements for electro-hydraulic and electro-mechanical systems on an agricultural vehicle domain.
Will be working with Embedded, electrical, Mechanical and hydraulic engineers to generate system requirements.
Be part of Embedded Software Developers working on an Agile Software scrum team performing software development in Embedded C, C++ testing and integration of software components to control vehicle.
Perform embedded systems engineering tasks including requirements analysis, operational concept development, software system design / architecture, component integration, design reviews and vehicle platform testing and problem solving.
Perform functional and integration bench testing in a simulated, virtual environment as well as perform on-vehicle testing in the lab and / or field.
Drive resolution to issues found during field testing and provide software support to the verification and validation team.
Entrepreneurial attitude and desire to work in fast paced, dynamic setting.
Electrical / Computer Science / Mechanical / Ag Engineering Degree.
Around 5 to 8 Years of experience with Embedded C / C++ programming language with MBSD using MATLAB Simulink and software development tools for embedded applications.
Should have experience with control systems design and analysis, RAPID Proto-typing Tools.
Experience writing system requirements for software development.
Experience with electro, mechanical hydraulic systems preferred.
Excellent communication skills, especially technical writing in English.
Experience in C / Embedded C language programming.
Understanding of Electrical and Electronics Domain.
Experience working with MATLAB and related Toolset.
Experience in MATLAB scripting (This will be helpful in creating automations).
Good Understanding of Control systems engineering techniques.
Good Understanding of using Micro Controllers or Micro Processors and real-time operating systems.
Work with product platforms groups to translate customer needs and platform requirement into electric drive system and component requirements while addressing needs of program requirements (performance, cost, quality and schedule).
Develop and Validate the Prototype models using dSPACE RAPID Proto-typing Tools.
Perform the calibrations based on Physics and load compensated mathematical models.
Define strategies, implement and mentor the team to convert Rapid Prototype models into Production models using MATLAB, Simulink, State flow, RTW and Embedded C.
Develop the Validation and Verification infrastructure for MIL, SIL, HIL and Vehicle Testing.
Work on defect fixes and root cause analysis of experimental issues and develop a plan to resolve the issues.
Perform the Software Release activities.
