The GCC Planner will work in a centralized capacity to ensure that all GCC Projects have developed, communicated, monitored and updated schedules beginning with the bid phase, through the pre-construction phase, the construction phase and the post-construction phase.
Following the risk assessment of upcoming projects, the Planner works with project teams and internal GCC groups to develop preliminary project and facility schedules which enhance the bid process.
Following a successful project procurement, the GCC Planner leads the scheduling function by working with GCC Project Teams, the GCC Estimating Team, Operational Groups (Asphalt, Bridge Operations, Concrete, Grading and Drainage), and Resource Groups (HR, Risk Management, Information Technology, Plant, Equipment, and Transportation) to prepare project schedules and identify realistic project milestones and durations.
The GCC Planner will be responsible to ensure that all GCC project schedules are monitored, maintained, and that project progress is communicated through pre-defined daily, weekly, and monthly activities for all active projects.
Following the completion of project construction activities, the GCC Planner works with project teams and internal GCC groups to identify post construction activities and ensure tasks are assigned, monitored and completed through weekly and monthly project reviews.
