We are currently seeking a motivated Jr. Environmental Engineer for our Breinigsville, PA office. In this position you will:

Evaluate and obtain environmental and related permits and/or clearances for our utility construction projects
Ensure the safe and successful completion of projects in compliance with regulations and within established standards and other project management parameters

Responsibilities:
Learn the Federal, state, and local regulation and engineering/permitting practices for utility construction projects
Prepare hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to develop recommendations for the project team on appropriate permitting and engineering solutions
Assist in the preparation and review of permit submittals, renewals, modifications and updates with local, state, and federal government agencies
Ensure the application of relevant Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies on all project activities promote a strong safety culture in project and functional teams, and in work undertaken by contractors and suppliers
Assist Project Managers/Engineer staff as needed

Qualifications:
0-3 years of related experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
High degree of initiative and independent judgment
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work with a multi discipline team
Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines
Strong oral/written communication skills and personal computer skills
Proficiency in drafting with AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience a plus
