Associate Engineer – Operational Technology
Utilize Industrial Engineering techniques to support the manufacture of trucks and truck components. Develop work instructions and preliminary line balance of new products through assembly documentation. Improve and maintain current documentation to support the assembly plants.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Write assembly work processes and main assignment procedures. Determine appropriate assembly fixtures. Review and select required special tooling and equipment. Establish manpower requirements, line and sub-assembly balancing data, and expectancy time performances. Process documentation and control of prototype assembly issues. Assist in plant layout and work station design. Exhibits a high level of computer literacy. Plans, schedules and prioritizes work to meet established deadlines. Determine/Improve processes to meet production levels. Provide technical support & assist as a resource person in assigned areas or projects. Perform stop watch time studies.
Associate’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
2 - 5 years related work experience
Two year technical/Associate’s Degree or 2+ years relevant experience in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.
CompTIA Security+ Certified
6-plus months or more of related computer systems administration and maintenance
Experience with Micronet Telematic Systems and vehicle integration
Experience and basic proficiency with Android, Windows, and Linux Operating Systems
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Information Technology experience within the manufacturing industry or System Administration experience for tactical DoD computing systems
