As a Software Engineer II, you will design new software systems and enhancements to existing systems to support new software features and products. Work with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, Test & Software Engineers and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and to decompose large requests into smaller ones that can be executed sequentially or in parallel. Contribute to the product roadmap, technology, and direction while supporting a culture of quality and operational excellence on the team. Investigate and resolve problems and fix bugs and balancing short-term and long-term results.
This opportunity is for a software engineer working primarily on backend systems for the Employer Platform team in the Resume product group. This team is responsible for the backend systems, capabilities, and technologies to expose Indeed Sourcing capabilities to 3rd party integrators and tooling. This key new capability is unlocking new business opportunities and exciting new scenarios and capabilities for our customers. This team has only begun to unlock these capabilities and this is a great time to join the team and help us deliver on our ground-breaking vision for the future!
Design, develop, test, and deliver software and systems to solve technical problems and add new capabilities to the products you work on.
Debug and fix issues and defects in software systems.
Work with your team to improve processes, design and quality of software components.
Collaborate with PMs, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure that our products provide the best possible customer experience

Experience working with REST and RPC service patterns and other client/server interaction models
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
