The Staff Engineer will provide entry level engineering support to the senior technical staff on water and wastewater planning, design, construction management, and utility operation.
Be able to grow and learn a variety of civil engineering applications including water and wastewater planning, design, and construction observation.
Analyze engineering data, review existing reports and documents, interpret plans and specifications, and makes sound decisions with the support of experienced engineers and technicians to solve challenges.
Model fluid systems including water and wastewater using software packages.
Interact with government agencies for necessary permits, crossing agreements, easements, encroachments, and other necessary requirements.
Attend public meetings, public forums and open houses to discuss project details, answer questions from the public, as required by the senior level engineering staff.
AutoCAD Civil 3D
At a minimum, the successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
– Preferred advanced degrees specializing in Water or Wastewater Engineering.
