Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator/Lab Assistant to join our team in Holland, MI!

This opportunity requires a candidate with the skill set to manage a variety of different roles. These responsibilities include shipping & receiving, assembling products, performance testing, and UL mark electrical bench testing for various household and commercial furniture products. A successful Project Coordinator/Lab Assistant is someone who has ambition to learn and grow, enjoys working in a team-oriented setting and is well organized in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities include:
Shipping and receiving

Unbox
Check for damage
Assemble
Check the sample into Aurora
Disassembly upon project completion
Dispose
Enter product disposition into Aurora
Testing - Performance

Organize samples for testing
Stage samples for testing
Assist senior techs / project managers with testing
Assist all aspects of organization of the lab
Test – UL mark

Assist safety engineer with electrical bench testing, load testing, stability, etc
Organize samples for testing
Stage samples for testing
Assist senior techs / project managers with testing
Assist all aspects of organization of the lab
  • Perform other duties as necessary
Qualifications
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent + 2-4 years of experience
Prefer mechanical and electrical background
Ability to learn and use UL Systems and basic software
Basic knowledge in Excel
Good work ethic
Organized with time management skills
