Role Overview:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for oversight of the planning, scheduling, and executing your assigned project. You will coordinate with your project team and field labor to ensure the work is completed safely, on schedule, and up to Hydro-Temp Mechanical’s quality standards. The project manager is responsible for the project budget and maintaining a strong relationship with the client.

This role is focused on commercial construction projects and pursuits. This is a mid-level to senior position at Hydro-Temp.

Responsibilities

· Understand and execute work based on bid-spec and design changes

· Build strong relationship with the Project Team (i.e.; Engineer, Architect, Owner / GC and any trade partners), through professional and proactive communication and problem resolution

· Manage Subcontractors

· Ensure timely notices to the GC / Owner to protect interests regarding, added work, design changes, delays, impacts etc.

· Assume responsibility for successful project outcomes including schedule completion, adherence to budget, Owner and GC project understanding, and engineering solutions

Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Workeragement (or equivalent work experience)

· Advanced knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems

· 10+ years of project management experience, preferably with a focus on mechanical systems

· Experience managing large-scale commercial projects in the Portland area

· Ability to communicate with a wide range of team members internal and external including suppliers, field crews, designers, and owners

· Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks on a continual basis

· Dependable commitment to teamwork and client satisfaction

· Basic computer competency, including Microsoft Office and Bluebeam and BIM understanding

Nice to Haves

· Strong understanding of Lump Sum, GMP, RFP and hard bid projects

· OSHA 10+ Certifications / safety accreditations

· ECCAD and D/B experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $87,000.00 per year
