Associate Graphic Designer
Lincoln, NE
We are searching for a detail-oriented Production Artist to manage creative projects, take on designs during the final stages of execution to ensure accuracy and prepare them for print or digital publication. The ideal Associate Graphic Designer will combine a strong mix of creative, technical, and communication skills with a solid attention to detail to ensure our print and digital designs meet high quality standards.

Collaborate closely with Marketing Specialists, senior creatives and developers to execute and deliver effective design projects
Liaising with Marketing Specialists to define design requirements
Follow deadlines to ensure timely design execution and delivery
A strong attention to detail ensuing all graphics, colors and typographical elements are balanced and free of errors
Reviewing graphics, layouts and fonts before products are completed
Retouch images to improve quality both in print and digital formats
Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production
Create PDFs for print and client review
Package and preflight files for release to printers or media partners
Keep up-to-date with trends in graphic design techniques and software

Bachelor’s degree in fine art, graphic design, similar discipline or relevant work experience
2+ years of related graphic design or production experience

Strong knowledge of printing processes and digital color spaces
Strong attention to detail and proofing skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be a process-oriented self-starter
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Adept with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
Must stay up to date with new production techniques, Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office application features and trends through research and education
