About the Design Release Engineer Role:
As a Front and Rear Closures Engineer, you will be responsible to develop and integrate front and rear closure mechanical and electrical components into the vehicle. Specific component integration you may be responsible for may include:
Front and Rear Latching
You will design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. Perform engineering design evaluations. May develop a range of products.
This role requires an experienced engineer to lead and drive a multi-functional product development team including collaboration with the following groups:
Within Engineering –
This position involves responsibility for development activities throughout a vehicle’s lifecycle including:
Definition of requirements
Execution of design
Testing and validation
Additional Job Description
Education & Experienced Required:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
Minimum of 0-2 years of experience with developing and executing technical solutions for electrical / mechanical components to support new vehicle programs
Communicate information to and from internal and external customer organizations
Master’s Degree or other Advanced Degree
Vehicle or new product launch processes
Stamping and metal forming design knowledge
Injection molded plastic design knowledge
