The Water Infrastructure Group provides expertise and services in community water, wastewater and storm water systems, as well as, aquatic and park facilities. Project types include but are not limited to commercial and municipal water parks, pools, splashpads, aquatic centers, fountains, or related project experience including land development.
The Aquatics Engineer will:
Develop plans, specifications, and engineer cost estimates for a variety of water and aquatic projects.
Be able to work and effectively communicate with diverse client entities to collaborate and create facility concepts, alternatives, and coordinate projects from feasibility through construction.
Presenting reports, studies, and speaking in large group setting or city council meetings.
Able to coordinate and develop aquatics facility designs including working with multi-disciplinary team of professional consultants in related technical fields.
Good written and oral communications skills for supporting the client throughout the process including writing technical reports, feasibility studies, specifications, memo/letters and similar.
Ensure high quality design of all waterpark projects with respect to safety, guest experience, operational sensibility, buildability and efficiency.
Be able to read and interpret CAD drawings and understand specifications, CAD or Revit experience is beneficial.
Candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. PE certification required.
Preferred: 8+ years of experience working in aquatics
