Programmer/Analyst

The Programmer/Analyst will serve as part of the Administrative Computing team responsible for the implementation and maintenance of enterprise applications essential to the administration of the College. Experience with Ellucian’s Banner ERP is strongly preferred. Primary responsibility is to develop, implement and support Marist’s business process software.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems and 8 years of experience in the IT field.

Essential Functions:
Support a diverse environment of applications that include Oracle and MySQL using various languages including SQL, PL/SQL, Java and Cron scripting.
Work with customers to streamline business processes and realize efficiencies, while providing user support and excellent customer service.
Write programs in Argos to generate reports according to user specifications.
Assist to resolve day-to-day production issues and mange client expectations.
Share in on-call responsibilities.
Design, develop, document and deploy software solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Ellucian’s Banner ERP.
