Learning the software features and functions through training and completing real support tasks for our engineers and projects/clients
Reviewing help documentation and identifying software bugs, errors in existing documentation and needs for new help documentation
Creating and editing help documentation independently and with others
Demo software with help documentation as internal training for team members – this will help to identify additional needs and improvements
Participating and contributing to application development – may include some software development as appropriate
Performing data analysis
Completed relevant coursework in, technology, computer programming or equivalent
Technical writing experience – ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people
Interest in working with a Software group
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Outstanding academic credentials (minimum GPA of 3.0 or its equivalent) and exceptional interpersonal, technical writing, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
Strong writing and oral presentation skills
Must be able to work and get to our office in Acton, MA (no public transportation available)
Experience with Slack, Atlassian-confluence or other Wikis
Software development methodologies, programming, database
