ASRC Federal System Solutions is seeking an entry level Electrical Engineer to join our team supporting the FAA's mission of providing the safest air traffic system in the world. This position will assist the FAA's second-level engineering team supporting the Interfacility team that focuses on engineering infrastructure.

Provide technical guidance in the procurement of new equipment and services
Provide technical assistance in the installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment and services
Troubleshoot equipment failures, conduct testing of equipment and services
Generate documentation for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment and services
Develop, test, and deploy software applications using C C++, Python, Java, LabVIEW and Jython
Develop, test, and deploy network configurations including routing and switching
Establish and maintain equipment support facilities
Assess the security status of equipment
Provide on-site restoration; develop purchase descriptions for modification kits
Review program-related documents
Provide engineering consultations, investigations and documentation of findings (i.e.-white papers, engineering study reports)
Develop briefings and presentations
Create HRD/PTR documentation (hardware discrepancy report/program trouble report
Familiarization with Telecommunications equipment (Routers, Switches, Multiplixers)

Bachelor of Science in an ABET accredited Engineering discipline (Computer or Electrical/Electronic preferred)
Coursework in areas including electrical, electronics, signals, analog and digital communications
Familiarity with software such as C, C++, Python, Java, LabVIEW, MATLAB and Jython
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to pass an FAA background investigation (US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required)
Ability to travel up to 25% if required
