Provide process engineering support for established processes. Analyze data & initiate continuous improvement.
Design, implement, and support NPIs, scale-ups, and/or process modifications.
Manage ESHS, quality, cycle time, and equipment availability requirements.
Work closely with customers and project teams.
Provide technical expertise in core process engineering disciplines (mixing, materials science, heat transfer, etc).
Understand site capacity restraints and identify projects to streamline and remove bottlenecks to increase productivity.
Provide solid guidance on regulations, engineering standards, policies, and procedures for good engineering practices.
Review and approve engineering technical documents.
BS in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
8-10+ years of prior chemical or pharmaceutical engineering/manufacturing experience (preferred)
Experience working in manufacturing or production environments
Ability to overcome challenges and identify opportunities for improvements.
Technical knowledge and ability to solve complex process issues.
Strong communication skills.
Technical problemsolving ability.
Indirect leadership experience-able to influence groups informally.
Ability to use common software packages such as MS Office suite.
Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation.
