Description
E INC is seeking an Analytics Developer to join our data management team to help manage data products. The primary role will be a cross link between the infrastructure and data science team and be able to use data pipelines to develop and stage data structures for analytics model development and deploying of models into production environment. The candidate will work closely with subject matter experts to perform data quality analysis, develop scripts, document and support new and existing data products. The candidate will also coordinate with technology and cross-divisional data teams to help design, test and enhance data pipeline management and distribution systems and processes.
Job responsibilities
Create data structures for advanced analytical model development
Work with data scientist on deploying of the AI/ML models into production and BI reporting
Form a cross link between the data infrastructure, data science and data analysis teams.
Analyze data quality, develop transformation scripts, remediate quality issues, and work collaboratively with SMEs to implement and test new data products
Coordinate with technology teams to design, construct, install, test and maintain data management systems
Create reusable components and data tools for broader Research department use in accessing and analyzing Research datasets
Help create and evolve data standards and product documentation
Provide product support for clients and internal users of data products
Technical Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience building AWS infrastructure
Experience with using data profiling tools to query data, identify anomalies, gaps and issues
Experience in problem solving and performing root cause analysis on data-related issues
Experience with Python for data analysis and data management activities
Experience designing and configuring technical architecture to support data management activities
Experience in data quality management tools/libraries
Experience working with data in various forms: relational databases, data warehouses, unstructured data environments (HIVE, Impala)
General awareness of data management best practices, emerging trends, and challenges
Working knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Google Analytics/Looker etc.
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Masters preferred.
At least 7 years of experience (post Bachelor’s) or 5 years of experience (post Master’s) as a data or software engineering
Strong analytical and reasoning skills; able to decompose complex problems and projects into manageable pieces; comfortable suggesting and presenting solutions
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and interfacing with a broad set of stakeholders across various functions (i.e., Business, IT, Operations)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills presenting complex analytical results to both technical and non-technical audiences
