Looking for a Controls EIT for Memphis.
The Controls EIT assists the senior design staff in the execution of technical activities required on assigned projects and learns discipline-specific technical standards and procedures. Assists the project team in the production of projects on time, within budget, and consistent with industry standards. Under supervision participates in technical studies, investigations, and design on assigned projects.
Assist with the design, installation, and commissioning of new control systems
Begin to become familiar with NFPA, NEC, UL, OSHA, ISA, NEMA, IEC, ANSI and other applicable codes and standards as they pertain to the design and installation of industrial control panels
Review control system historical and trend data and explain findings
Assist with coordinating project designs with other disciplines to determine equipment needs
Assist senior staff in the development of technical documentation, proposals, and presentations to clients
May attend meetings with owners, clients, and contractors
An ideal candidate will possess the following requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college
Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Engineering theories and methodologies (i.e., application of college engineering courses)
Control system design and process instrumentation
DCS and PLC control systems
SCADA and HMI packages
Control system architectures and communication protocols
Control systems installation and troubleshooting practices and procedures
ISA, NFPA, UL, and other applicable codes, regulations, and standards
