This position may be eligible for varying levels of telework. Amount of telework, if any, will be determined by job scope, candidate location, and other factors related to the position.
Work individually or on teams under the guidance of senior personnel to develop software solutions for site operational facilities. The types of work may include:
- Develop process modeling or computer simulations
- Develop new operational technology applications or maintain/enhance existing operational technology applications
- Provide custom interfaces with laboratory instrumentation and configuring Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS)
- Provide application/control system design and development for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to interface with process instrumentation
- Work with ORACLE or SQL databases to support operational technology systems
- Provide Cyber Security for Industrial Control Systems
Process System Engineers with interest or experience in Visual Studio, .NET, C#, Java and web application development for operational technology systems.
Process Control Engineers with interest or experience in process simulation such as JPro, CAPE, and Mimic or process control systems such as D3 or DeltaV, or PLCs systems such as Modicon and Allen-Bradley.
Recent college graduates will initially be placed in the Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP). They will receive one-on-one career development assistance from seasoned professionals from different backgrounds and will be collocated with other new hires allowing for peer group connection. They will begin their technical training as well as be given project assignments that will provide them with exposure to different facilities and site work processes.

Basic Education Qualifications
Bachelor degree in applicable science or engineering discipline
Other Required Qualifications
Required Discipline/Major: Chemical Engineer, Computer Science, Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineering, Information Systems-Technology, Physics or Mathematics, Cyber Security, or Network Administration
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if required.
Candidates must attain all educational and/or certification requirements by June 2023.
Preferred Qualifications
Sound technical knowledge of discipline's standard concepts, principles, and techniques.
