Industrial Engineer Essential Functions
Supports all manufacturing functions: assembly, fabrication, maintenance, design engineering, etc.
Write assembly instructions for production for new models.
Update assembly instructions per engineering changes.
Document plant layout on AutoCAD and update as required.
Determine process improvements and implement.
Determine proper tooling requirements and fixturing, draw tools, maintain document, then implement tool to production.
Maintain tool inventory.
Complete 5S inspections and document.
Perform time studies.
Determine assembly line balances for optimum production.
Document assembly processes with photos and video.
Assist maintenance department in procuring repair parts / tooling.
A 4 year technical degree and/or job experience.
Must be mechanically inclined.
Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills
