Lochner, a leader in transportation engineering, is currently seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer for our Tampa, FL office location.
Work on high-profile and challenging corridor concepting projects leveraging technology, innovation and ingenuity to address congestion and mobility challenges.
Apply knowledge of engineering to design roadway, highway, and interstate improvements
Perform traffic analysis according to appropriate standards
Prepare engineering calculations found in the Highway Capacity Manual
Develop network models, design factors, reports, and analysis recommendations.
Coordinate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
Manage and maintain project documentation.
Collaborate with a dynamic team to complete project requirements
B.S. in Civil Engineering
EIT/FE is required
0-5 years of experience
Proficient using Synchro, VISSIM, VISUM, CORSIM, CUBE, or ArcGIS a plus.
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
