In this role, you will:
Develop and maintain a technical understanding of the submarine weapons handling and discharge mechanical systems.

Interpret design and manufacturing drawings.

Provide engineering support to the build-up and commissioning of platform systems.

Draft repair specifications, including technical drawing packs, for arising technical issues on the platform under the direct supervision of the responsible Sealing Professional Engineer.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including the Custormer’s representatives, Production Tradespeople, Project Management Teams, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain Departments

Perform other duties as necessary or as assigned

As our ideal candidate:
You hold a post-secondary Engineering degree in a relevant field

Are eligible for registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in British Columbia or able to complete such registration within 12 months
Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems including pressurized storage cylinders desirable
Naval weapon systems or combat systems familiarity desirable
Marine, offshore oil and gas drilling or naval vessel experience, an asset

Knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices an asset
Strong computer skills including MS Office suite desirable

Eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
