How you make an impact:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Write/create custom business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, UI Actions, ACL’s, data policies, UI scripts.
Can troubleshoot basic configuration/script issues
Build on current platform knowledge by learning new modules and broadening skillset
Develop applications & solutions with highly responsive UI for mobile and web-based environments within the ServiceNow platform
Leverage your UI/UX design sense to the applications developed and enhanced
Build reusable components that can be leveraged across the platform
Solve complex problems in a highly dynamic and agile environment with moderate guidance
Interact with business analysts to transform business requirements from wireframes into technical requirements for fully realized applications
Support and integrations to third party applications that connect into the ServiceNow platform
Ensure tool configuration consistency across the environments
Document technical solutions and application configuration
Fix applications through SIT, UAT, and post project implementation.
Mentor and coach others on troubleshooting techniques and technical inquiries.
Build technical designs that meet Technical Architect direction of development standards.
Provides daily support of the ServiceNow platform; including scripting, configuration, integrations and administration.
Determines scope, estimates work effort and determines duration of development activities.
ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping configuration, customization and implementation.
Monitors health and usage of the application.
Will require 24X7 support, including holidays and weekends on call support as part of a scheduled rotation with other team members
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
Seven (7) or more years of experience in Software Development, Information Technology, or in a related area.
Understanding for object-oriented programming and software development.
Experience in information system implementation or change efforts.
Experience working with software design principals.
Ability to develop based on provided functional specifications.
Computer analytic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate with internal/external entities.
Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
One (1) or more years of prior lead experience.
Familiarity with a formal project methodology or Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (Waterfall, Agile, etc.).
Familiar with AngularJS/Bootstrap
Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems, and software.
ServiceNow Administrator Certification
2+ years’ experience as a ServiceNow Administrator, Developer, or Implementation Specialist
2 years’ experience with web technologies including API’s / CSS / XML / HTML / Web services
