What you’ll be doing...
As a Security Consultant, you will deliver consulting project activities, ranging from client identification through final invoicing through medium to long term engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills. Your technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment. Performance is evaluated based on billable hours and contractual deliverables. Viewed by customers as a subject matter expert, your performance is measured by delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours. Works on problems of complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
Identify, assess and upgrade customer information technology infrastructure regarding risks and vulnerabilities.
Document (textual and graphical as appropriate), communicate, recommend and take appropriate action to resolve, risks and issues associated with security vulnerabilities across the Customer IT Environment.
Install, implement, and configure Splunk Cloud.
Develop operation document for SOC operation based on Splunk technologies.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Four or more years of technical experience, including at least fouryears in security services.
Two or more years ofexperience in Splunk technologies.
Must have one or more of the following Splunk Certifications:
Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin
Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect
Splunk Enterprise Security Certified Admin
Splunk IT Service Intelligence Certified Admin
Even better if you have:
Five or more years of technical experience, including at least five years in security services.
Previous consulting experience within a Professional Services organization.
Industry certification such as CISSP, CCSE, SANS or other Security certifications, such as GCIA, GCIH, GREM, GPEN or CEH.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
Ability to present information to management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Willingness to travel.
