Job Description

Perform Internal Audits, company-wide
Assist with 3rd party QMS certifications and on-going 3rd-party audits at multiple designs and manufacturing locations
Support all aspects of Customer interface and relations from initial engagement-qualification, on-going customer support, customer complaint management and problem solving
Work with Microchip manufacturing teams, Quality/FA/Reliability teams and design centers world-wide to support factory product and process related quality issues.
Interface with new product development teams. Propose procedures/systems for improving new product releases
Perform contract and feasibility review on customer technical specifications and non-standard requests. Work with engineering and factory to implement customer requirements.
Work with all company functions to review operations and propose procedures/systems for improving and streamlining operations
Develop as-is and to-be process maps
Support quality improvement initiative and programs to achieve 0 ppm

Job Requirements

BS in Engineering or equivalent; Masters preferred.
0-3 years of work experience in an electrical/electronic field.
Proven record of working on multiple projects either alone or with cross teams.
Have a general knowledge of Statistical concepts (e.g. SPC, DOE, Regression Analysis, MSA, etc.)
Have excellent skills in problem solving and performing root cause analysis.
Ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation
Possess excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Have general knowledge of electronics. Semiconductor knowledge/experience a plus.
Capable leadership skills necessary.
Strong self-motivational ability.
Knowledge of Quality Management System Standards (e.g. ISO9001, IATF 16949 etc.) a plus
Basic programming skills/SharePoint Suite a plus
Knowledge of optimization modelling (e.g. linear programming, integer programming etc.) a plus.
