About the Company
Our client is a software company that was founded to solve the "black box" problem of perception and prediction in autonomous driving. The team consists of AV industry veterans coming from OEMs, world-class research institutions, and autonomous driving companies.
The Role
The team is looking for a lidar engineer to join the team! They are currently seeking a Lidar Perception Algorithm Engineer for their ADAS\/Autonomous Driving team. This position requires an experienced professional with strong programming skills and solid knowledge of state-of-the-art perception algorithms.

Qualifications:
Master's/Phd Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Extensive experience working with Lidar sensors, deep insights into the mechanisms of the sensors, and their strengths and limitations.
Familiar with point cloud related algorithms such as segmentation, ICP, SLAM, etc. Familiar wit h different point cloud representations, such as voxels, occupancy grids, etc.
Strong analytical skills in linear algebra, geometry and probability
Strong C++ software development skills.
Experience developing software under strong realtime performance requirements.
Strong team player, comfortable working in a vibrant, diverse and interdisciplinary team.
