The Maintenance Engineer will support/manage new and existing projects related to the maintenance of the Marvin Facility and Manufacturing Processes. This position will directly affect initiatives that are critical for the Warroad plant and operations, as well as provide solutions to support the success the Maintenance support teams and the processes they utilize.
Manage/Lead maintenance related projects from concept to completion; develop project specifications, quote with external and internal suppliers/contractors, communicate project status/updates, manage project scope/budget/timeline, etc.
Provide support and expertise in matters related to process improvement and maintenance.
Research Maintenance Process needs and develop budgets/project plans that are used for annual operating budget planning.
Support Operational improvements by working on cross functional teams to provide creative and sustainable solutions to our Manufacturing process issues.
Ensure process modifications are well documented, training aides are completed, documented, repeatable and thorough.
Work in the Maintenance Management software to create and manage Work Orders associated with project initiatives
Work with Maintenance Management and support staff to enhance the training and performance of our maintenance teams.
Core business hours. Some limited weekend/afterhours project work as business needs require.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is preferred
Three or more years of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred
Strong knowledge and experience with AutoCAD, Inventor and Microsoft Office Suite
General knowledge of industrial maintenance systems
