This role is for a Software Engineer II on High Quality Marketplace, which is within the Job Seeker Organization. High Quality Marketplace is a major investment by Indeed to help job seekers to find better jobs via direct connections with business owners and hiring managers.
With millions of job seekers on Indeed, the potential for impact is limitless. This team will focus on driving forward this new initiative with a variety of important work: job seeker onboarding, profile building, and delivering highly relevant jobs in collaborating with core products at Indeed.
As Software Engineer II, you will drive the team to deliver innovative product features, use cutting edge technologies and rapidly iterate products by releasing every week:
Leverage powerful data analytics infrastructure at Indeed to discover product and engineering opportunities, suggest ideas and validate your hypothesis.
Coordinate and drive high complexity product and engineering initiatives across core product teams and make a real impact on job seekers.
Design, develop, and deliver product features in webapp and APIs that are highly scalable, available and fault-tolerant.
Explore and prototype innovative solutions in a fast and incremental fashion.
Mentor and guide engineers on your team to help them grow.
Who You Are
We're looking for someone who:

has a strong desire to learn and develop new skills continuously.
Requirements:
BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a closely related computer technical field with 2+ years experience programming with at least one of the following languages: Javascript, Java, C++, C#, Python, Go, or Perl;
Minimum 2 years professional experience in full-stack development, including experience working on at least one public-facing product with a global presence and significant traffic.
Highly skilled with development technologies used to design, deliver, troubleshoot, and maintain front-end user interfaces and back-end software systems.
Good interpersonal skills and familiarity with working in an Agile environment.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
