Description of Work: Sustainment team Software Engineers will primarily be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving engineering related issues experienced by PURVIS customers. In addition to providing engineering tier support, this position will be responsible for fixing product level bugs, developing troubleshooting and diagnostic tools, building out Continuous Integration (CI) unit, integration, and functional tests, and contribute to implementing product enhancement and features that will minimize overall support volume.
Contribute to new enhancements and product solutions that directly improve the support process and minimize support calls.
Manage and resolve bugs relating to support calls.
Troubleshoot, resolve, and follow up on engineering tickets/support calls
Communicate effectively with customers and team members
Work as a key part of a development team, or individually, on multiple product efforts.
Manage deadlines, project timelines, and individual responsibilities.
Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
1-2 years of work-related experience.
Must have working knowledge with some of the following technologies:
.NET, MFC, WCF, Web API, Socket Programming
Visual Studio, SVN, JIRA, MSSQL Server Management Studio
Must demonstrate experience in various aspects of the software product life cycle, including product design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task and manage multiple efforts.
Candidate must have or be able to obtain a government security clearance.
