The Quality Analyst position is an integral member of the Corporate Quality team and supports core QMS processes including corrective action, configuration management and internal audit through reporting process metrics, data analysis, processing customer complaints and ensuring customer/industry documentation is available and current in LMI within systems.
While performing all duties and responsibilities, the Quality Assurance Analyst will at all times, model LMI values and principles and act in a manner consistent with the LMI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the corrective action/corrective action board processes through generation and maintenance of process metrics, CAB scorecards, etc.
Support preparation and maintenance of process metrics, quality performance, cost of poor quality data, etc.
Develop and maintain charts utilizing Excel, PowerPoint or other software
Monitor and process LMI Customer Complaints items and requests for action
Support configuration management process by ensuring new/revised customer specifications are downloaded and available in the LMI systems
Enter new or revised specifications into ERP/MRP system and/or Product Life Management (PLM)
Aid in maintaining /distributing customer scorecard and reports
Assist with special projects and participate on various process improvement teams as requested
Support internal and external audit program
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience is preferred
Auditing experience to ISO9001 or AS9100 standards preferred
Aerospace industry knowledge is desirable
