What You'll Do
As an entry-level Geotechnical Staff Project Manager, we will teach you the skills that we know are important to grow into a successful professional engineer. Although you may be new to the geotechnical consulting industry, you are eager to hit the ground running in the field. You might already or are looking forward to gaining experiencing in performing boring layouts, supervising drilling operations, and performing geophysical surveys – which is what drew you to this opportunity. You have great communication skills and are easily able to interact with your team and clients. You will be part of a dynamic, growing, and energized team - and your role is key to the success of ECS. While your job duties may fluctuate day to day, here are some areas we expect to see you grow in:

Performing boring layouts and utility clearances

Supervising drilling operations

Performing geophysical surveys

Classifying soils and assigning lab testing

Geotechnical design and analysis

Report and proposal preparation and review

Budgeting daily and ongoing activities as well as invoicing

Marketing including daily on-going client interaction and development of a client database

Ability to interact with other staff members on various geotechnical projects

What We're Looking For
BS in civil engineering, geology, or related degree from an ABET accredited university; MS degree preferred
This entry-level position is only for those who are soon-to-be graduating or have within the past 6 months
0-2 years of related experience
Engineer in Training (EIT) license or ability to obtain one within 3 months of hire
