PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Works with a team to contribute to the global execution of Sustaining Projects with the goal of product maintenance and optimization as well as the implementation of process improvements of global importance.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to the worldwide execution of Sustaining projects with the goal of product maintenance and optimization as well as the implementation of process improvements of global importance.
Contribute to the project management based on defined design change processes and supported by electronic systems (e.g. Windchill)
Under the guidance of senior level staff, set-up and lead cross-functional teams (GRD, production, technology, purchasing, regulatory affairs etc.) for the local implementation of the individual project tasks. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
Monitoring project progress on the basis of coordinated project plans.
Effectively leads cross-functional teams on product development and manufacturing problem-solving efforts, to execute
projects in a timely manner with clear deliverables.
Organization of project meetings.
Reporting of project progress within the Sustaining Center and to other project stakeholders.
Normally receives detailed instruction on day-to-day work and new assignments.
Works with senior level staff for more complex tasks that require a higher level of understanding of functions.
Escalates issues to supervisor/manager for resolution, as deemed necessary.
Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Assist with various projects as assigned by a direct supervisor.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
0-2 years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience managing complex projects desirable
Experience working in Research and Development, Production, or Engineering desirable
Experience with design control activities, preliminary understanding of FDA/ISO, 510k submission is preferred.
Basic conceptual understanding of dialysis procedures, diffusion concept, ultrafiltration
Proficient with PCs, Microsoft Office applications, basics knowledge of design of experiment (DOE), and project management tools preferred.
Ability to use hand tools, small power tools and test equipment.
Demonstrated experience in analysis and planning with ability to analyze and anticipate situations, define problems and objectives, recognize alternatives and formulate solutions.
Demonstrates simple problem-solving skills through the use of quality and statistical tools preferred.
Ability to effectively work with a cross-functional team to expedite completion of critical project tasks.
