Triumph Integrated Systems – Electronics & Control – Ohio is a leading independent aerospace supplier of mission critical thermal and fluid management products for commercial and military platforms. The company provides solutions utilized on aircraft, engine, advance weapons pods, cruise missiles, avionics & electronic systems.

Due to internal employee growth, we are looking for a Mat'l and Process Engineer to join our team.

Develops metallurgical and metal joining objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management.
Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements. Develops material properties and design allowables, processing methods and quality engineering specifications. May review and approve subcontractor material processing procedures.
Determines TIG welding and Vacuum brazing specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; and preparing cost estimates.
Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
Determines project schedule by studying project plans and specification; calculating time requirements; and sequencing project elements.
Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; and recommending actions.
Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; and recommending actions.
The successful candidate will typically have a bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5 years of related experience.
Due to our company’s position as a key supplier to the US defense industry. All candidates must possess permanent authorization to work in the United States.
Comprehensive knowledge of Aluminum and Steel Alloy Metallurgy, Aluminum and Steel Alloy joining processes such as TIG welding and furnace brazing, engineering theories, principles, industry practices, concepts, techniques, regulations, and policies is a plus.
