We are seeking a Customer Quality / Warranty Engineer to work at our state of the art Lithium-Ion battery plant in beautiful Holland, MI. This role directly supports the OEM on projects involving failure investigations and root cause analysis, using appropriate investigation techniques and statistical methods.
The primary responsibilities of the Customer Quality / Warranty Engineer are:
Investigate customer complaints for product quality issues.
Lead projects involving failure investigations. Root cause analysis.
Act as a liaison between Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and the customer to facilitate effective problem solving and corrective action activities.
Utilize statistical tools to analyze complaints and corrective actions.
Conduct follow-up audits to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Traveling to OEM facilities as needed.
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering (BSEE), Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related
Experience in quality engineering in a highly automated and/or automotive environment ideal
Experience with Product Failure Mode Analysis / Root Cause Analysis / Electrical Analysis
Experience with robotic manufacturing equipment is a plus
Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation
Critical thinking and an analytical mindset
Knowledge of battery systems or processes a strong plus
English-Korean bilingual skills a plus, but not required
Demonstrated teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goals
