ATC has (3) three Field Engineers open within the Ohio market: Hamilton, OH; Cleveland, OH (northeast); and Canton, OH
We are seeking a Field Engineer to join American Tower’s U.S. Tower division’s Agile organization. Day to day you will install and maintain network equipment on telecommunication towers and commercial and residential sites. As a Field Engineer you will partner cross-functionally with the Company’s Network Operations Center and its Engineering and Sales departments.

What You Can Offer Us
Install and maintain equipment high off the ground on telecommunication towers and other structures.
Install routers, power supplies, fiber, Cat5 cables, LPUs, radios, and dishes.
Log into, upgrade, and program network equipment.
Perform quality checks on equipment and at job sites and complete all pertinent paperwork and logs.
Ensure truck and equipment are clean and in good working condition.
Adhere to established safety guidelines while performing all tasks.
Approximately 75% of the time the role will be performed outside of a conventional office environment.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Comtrain certification preferred.
Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, have a demonstrated safe driving record, and be able to travel extensively by car or truck.
Ability to climb and work on high structures.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to use additional Company software applications.
While performing the role you will need to lift as much as 50 lbs.
Approximately 10% travel and overnight stays may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
