Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Evaluate bodily injuries inflicted by machinery, automobiles, mechanical equipment, slip/trip and falls and other application areas
Conduct field investigations to document accident scenes and gather information that is the basis for subsequent analysis, simulation, and/or testing.
Failure and accident analysis on incidents involving all types of vehicles, vessels, and mechanical equipment and evaluate their impact on the human body
Conduct vehicular accident reconstruction and mechanical failure analysis
Conduct unbiased investigations for various types of clients
Responsible for retention and development of client relationships
Provide technical findings and conclusions in laymen's terms, both verbally and in writing
Support conclusions by appropriate testimony in legal proceedings
Deliver professional presentations, develop client relationships and promote self to client groups
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

Position Requirements:
REQUIRED Master's Degree
MUST have taken Anatomy and/or an Impact Biomechanics course
P.E. registration or the ability to acquire through testing
Physiology course completion preferred
Vehicular knowledge and desire to learn Vehicular Accident Reconstruction
Public speaking experience a plus
The ability to remain focused when dealing with ambiguity
The ability to work a non-conventional schedule
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Physical Requirements:
Ability to travel 25% of the time
Ability to maneuver in and around an accident site and/or active roadway
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to drive to site locations
Ability to travel by airline
Ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues
Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required by the work site
