Editron designs and produces state-of-art electric systems and products including electric motors, generators, converters and energy storage system for global off-highway and marine electric propulsion system market. We are looking to expand our team with a new position as System Engineer in the OEM Business line.

Job Description
As a System Engineer within OEM Business line, you will be the primary technical adviser and support to customers on a wide range of electrical drivetrain systems and work closely with customers and colleagues across departments. As a part of a sales support team you will provide technical support to our customers mainly in USA but also for all geographical areas when needed.

Background and skills
To be considered for this position, you have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or other relevant field. You have been working within engineering or technical sales of electrical and control systems for a couple of years. You must be a team player who can work independently as well, and you have customer oriented mind. Experience in project management would be an asset. It is mandatory that you have good English skills , both verbally and written, and willingness to travel.

Other needed key skills:
Understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings
Experience of power electronics
Knowledge of CAN bus is a benefit

Key responsibilities in this position:
Design and dimensioning of electric and hybrid drivetrain systems for various off-highway applications.
Provide technical support across all products within the portfolio and ensure content and preparation of relevant technical documentation.
Join the sales and account managers on customer visits and contribute to the sales activities regarding the technical contents.
Specify and initiate product and system changes and adjustments based on customer requirements.
Ensure delivery in customer projects on time at agreed cost and quality.
