We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist with a diverse skill set. As a specialist will be providing support to about 150 users. Although our custom back end is Ubuntu Linux - which you will have the opportunity to grow your skills with, most day to day issues involve Windows, Browsers, and our Applications.
This is a very “hands on job”. You will be answering trouble tickets and are expected to handle most issues and escalate some application issues to our internal developers.
You should have a working knowledge of:
- Windows Servers and Workstations install, configure, troubleshooting and backup
- Basic Microsoft Office
- Browser Issues Firefox/Chrome/Edge/IE
- Windows Domain Controller
- Basic networking
- Basic corporate security
- Troubleshoot PC hardware and software
- Replace drives, boards, monitors, power supplies, motherboards, etc.
In addition, scripting or programming ability is a plus but is not required. We are looking for a smart and quick learner and applicants will be consider based on their potential to grow into this position.
The ability to work directly with users, managers, and developers is required.
Training will be fully supplied.
Preferred Shift: 11:30AM to 8PM, with some flexibility with occasional overtime, evenings and weekends is desired. Other shift times will be considered.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience.
