Spectrum is seeking a Help Desk Specialist II that will support the modernization of the Wireless Networks Program for the Air Education and Training Command (AETC). AETC utilizes wireless internet services at all AETC bases as well as geographically separated units (GSU)’s to support its recruit, train and education (RT&E) mission for the Air Force. The initiatives will improve the effectiveness of wireless services utilized by AETC staff, faculty, and students attending AETC courses. He or she must have the following:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience responding to and diagnosing problems through discussion with users.
Ensures a timely process through which problems are controlled. Includes problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up steps.
Experience with help desk operations and serving as focal point for customer
Experience providing support to end users on a variety of issues.
Experience identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems.
Experience responding to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
Experience documenting, tracking, and monitoring problems to ensure a timely
Experience providing second-tier support to end users for either PC, tablet, mobile phone, server, network, or mainframe applications or
Experience interacting with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.

Minimum Qualifications Required:
US Citizenship required
DoD government security clearance SECRET or higher
Educational Level: Bachelors of Science in an engineering or technical discipline
Years of Experience: 3 years minimum
Certifications: Information Assurance Systems Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level II
