Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 months of policy, operations, legal, or communications work experience.
Ability to speak and write in English and either Korean or Malayalam fluently and idiomatically.
Experience with using data to identify trends and improve processes and workflows.
Experience working in technology and/or legal field.
Ability and willingness to work on a broad range of legal matters.
Ability to interact professionally with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent attention to detail with a proven ability to contribute in a changing work environment.

As a Legal Policy Specialist, you are a driving force behind the success of your Legal team, ready to create, improve, and implement processes. As you closely support your team, you may find yourself working with multiple groups within the Legal Department, internal clients across Google, and external parties. You will be an independent thinker who isn't afraid to ask questions and make improvements to our operations and will be able to motivate yourself through repetitive tasks without losing sight of the details and the quality of your work.
As a member of the Legal Investigations Support team, you will handle all legal requests made from external parties. Your team will work with in-house counsel to develop policies for evaluating and responding to requests and then devise workflows to implement these policies at scale. You will also seek out efficient processes and tools to ensure Google is able to respond quickly and consistently to every request received.

Review and process legal requests to meet weekly and monthly quotas.
Respond to internal and external legal inquiries.
Communicate process and policy to third-party attorneys.
Provide excellent and responsive user support in helping to overcome legal challenges in both English and Korean or Malayalam.
