  • The primary function of this new engineer position is to operate the tools for analysis requests and provide timely high quality analysis report to support NPI process qualification, Fab tool qualification and mass production yield improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with Fab Engineering and PIE to understand customer needs and provide root cause analysis with data interpretation.
  • Other functions will be to develop innovative analysis techniques to meet the analysis needs of our customers on cutting edge technologies.
Role and Responsibilities

Applicable Job Functions includes specific tool operation and understanding of TEM and FIB.
Responsible for daily tool operation, analysis data acquisition, and to provide timely, high quality analytical reports for fab process and tool qualification and for investigating manufacturing defect issues and device failure.
Identify the root causes and provide solution logistics.
Able to recognize opportunities and lead projects regarding to analytical work improvement in terms of quality, TAT and cost.
Capable of conducting scientific research on novel semiconductor defective issues and writing scientific paper.
Work days and hours: 2nd Shift (TUE - SAT)

Skills and Qualifications

B. S. to PhD in Materials Science, Electrical /Electronic Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or closely related discipline. Structure analysis tools hands on experience is required.
The candidate must have basic knowledge of semiconductor processes and device physics, solid background on materials physics and chemistry, and experienced hands on in operating the analytical tools and associated analytical techniques.
The candidate will be required to interact with process engineering groups for data interpretation and report presentation.
Proven analysis experiences by recent publications.
Excellent problem solving ability.
Team work with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous analytical lab experience is a plus.
