ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Is this the right position to help you achieve your professional goals? Some of the key responsibilities for the position include:
Perform environmental due diligence (Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments);
Conducting environmental regulatory analyses;
Prepare air emissions inventories and emission calculations;
Support environmental permitting and compliance services in related disciplines, such as those driven by the Clean Water Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act, and National Environmental Policy Act;
Data analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures;
Fieldwork such as soil, surface water and groundwater sampling, drilling and contractor oversight, and remediation treatment system operation and maintenance;
Groundwater and soil remedy evaluation, cost estimation, design calculations, and implementation; and
Preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals.

Training: This position requires OSHA health and safety, first aid, and CPR training and medical monitoring, paid for by the firm. We also offer professional development opportunities including in-house seminars, webinars, and mentoring, that allow our professionals to build the technical and business skills necessary to become successful consultants.
Fieldwork: Up to 50%
Overnight travel: Up to 20%

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE
Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental or chemical engineering or related discipline (required).
Advanced degree in civil, environmental or chemical engineering (preferred).
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, if applicable (preferred).
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
At least 1 year of related experience, preferably with an environmental consulting firm, or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred).
Experience with environmental due diligence (preferred).
Experience in environmental compliance services (stormwater, spill planning, hazardous waste, etc.) and compliance auditing (preferred).
Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required).
