We are looking for a New Store Opening Specialist to provide assistance to Development Managers with all tasks required to track projects in the development of new corporate and franchise restaurant openings including coordination, administrative and communicative responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is a skilled multi-tasker with being able to handle multiple projects at one time, incredibly reliable, has a strong attention to detail and has strong communication skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up, organize, and maintain project files throughout the development process.
Create reports, presentations, and correspondence formats to be utilized in the project development process.
Independently take preliminary action specific to requests and compile information from internal and external sources relating to the development process.
Monitor site development by inputting and tracking dates, resources, and project information in tracking software (Smartsheets).
Coordinate new project requests and maintain database of upcoming projects.
Assist Development Manager with code research and preliminary site due diligence as needed.
Process documents and perform follow-up (i.e. Landlord/Seller approvals, consultant proposals, franchisee approvals, etc.).
Request, track and distribute drawings and reports. (i.e. surveys, geotechnical reports).
Interact with internal departments on a daily basis. Respond promptly and accurately to requests.
Establish relationships and communicate with outside Consultants (i.e. Architects, Civil Engineers, City Government, Expeditors).
Maintain communication with Development Manager through voicemail and e-mail.
Some college preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside business contacts.
Be able to multi-task, prioritize and manage the development of multiple projects simultaneously.
Must possess the ability to work independently, be outgoing, self-motivated, and with good people skills.
Ability to work remotely with sufficient home office space.
Proficiency in applicable project management programs (including Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheets)
Real Estate / Construction / Development technical vocabulary a plus.
