Assists in electronic computer programming by performing selected assignments on a progressively responsible basis; prepares block diagrams and writes machine instructions for simple problems; and performs other related duties as required.
Performs as an entry level trainee assisting with the analysis and design of in-house, statewide, and/or national information technology (IT) systems by evaluating data processing requirements, analyzing current methods, and recommending and assisting with the overall design of those IT systems.

Six months of stored computer programming experience.
A Bachelor's degree in Information and Computer Science (ICS) or Management Information Systems (MIS) from an accredited four-year college or university may substitute for the six months of stored computer programming experience.
