The Manncorp family of businesses is currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team in Hatboro, PA!
The Manufacturing Engineer will develop manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, assembly, tooling, and materials; researching, designing, modifying and testing methods and equipment; analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout; designing testing methods; testing finished-product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming production processes.
Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; soliciting observations from operators.
Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying and testing methods and equipment.
Develop process documents; specifications, procedures, work instructions and test procedures
Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
Assures production quality by designing testing methods; testing finished-product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming production processes.
Provides production decision-making information by calculating production, labor and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
Prepares manufacturing information and reports by writing computer programs; entering data; collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
Prepares production staff by training and guiding technicians.
Lead process improvements while teaching others improvement techniques.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy manufacturing environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; alerting others regarding potential concerns.
Improves manufacturing engineering job knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to engineering and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required. Master’s degree, preferred.
Minimum of 2 – 4 years Manufacturing Engineer or Process Engineer experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with ERP software preferred – specifically, Microsoft Dynamics.
Working knowledge of CAD software preferred.
Demonstrated success in process improvement implementation and project management.
Manages projects to deliver results on time and on budget.
Focused on Meeting Customer Needs.
Proficient in MS Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PP).
Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and technical skills.
Lighting industry experience a plus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must be able work additional hours as needed.
