Update development systems, BOMs, and internal tracking charts
Review garments to ensure they correspond with the tech packs
Attend relevant meetings such as design reviews, proto review/fittings, and line presentations
Researching the market for innovation & newness in trims, materials & technologies to further grow & improve the apparel collection
Participation in on-site development trips as required
Assist in the costing process to achieve best possible margin targets.
2+ years experience in an apparel development based position
College degree in a related field preferred.
General knowledge of apparel construction, fabric/trims, costing, and overall manufacturing processes.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects/seasons at various stages of the development process at the same time.
Ability to meet required deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written/verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to use Microsoft Office/Adobe Illustrator/Web based applications.
