About the Role:
The Client Fund Services (CFS) Real Assets IT team is seeking a senior/expert developer. The team is responsible for the development, maintenance and support of the systems servicing diverse real assets fund structures such as Equity Funds, Debt Funds of Real Assets Funds across the Globe.

This multifaceted position is responsible for development, configuration, technical support, and performance tuning of the integrated accounting and investment management real estate platform (Yardi), and additional systems in support of the real assets application ecosystem, i.e., fund accounting, cash management, investor relations, operations, data warehousing, business intelligence/anayltics, portfolio/fund modeling, etc. The candidate will work with multiple Citco business units and technology teams, and at times interface with institutional clients in support of their integration, reporting and custom requirements.

Job Duties in Brief:
Assist in the development and ongoing evolution of a Real Assets IT architecture that balances current needs and positions for future needs
Determine and deliver real assets business solutions, which align with overall Citco IT Architecture
Participate in efforts that pilot, evaluate, select, design and implement specific architecture solutions for real assets
Provide the leadership to drive the technical effort across the various teams, and to make critical technical decisions that impact the project infrastructure at large.
Work closely with project management to assure adequate technical resources are assigned and issues are addressed to reduce the overall risk to the project.
Ensure that a unified technical direction is followed and adhered to among development tiers (presentation, middle-tier and database) of the project.
Expedite resolutions to problem domains as they occur and impact the present and future software architecture/infrastructure.
Understand business requirements and how to best leverage the technology to meet delivery goals according to schedule.
Facilitate and participate in high-level design discussions among architects and developers.
Advocate design and coding best practices, design patterns, reuse
Detailed understand of emerging AD technologies and frameworks in Alternative Investments – Real Assets
Awareness of adoption levels for key mainstream and alternatives industry specific technology standards, including best practice guidance and technology migration strategies and technique
Address the IT architecture for assembling and connecting Real Assets business with Citco enterprise applications. Requires knowledge of new in-house applications, legacy applications, and third party applications
Focus on IT Architecture related to data design (e.g., modeling, recovery), data optimization (e.g., performance, movement, distribution), metadata management, and reporting tools
Determine appropriate data delivery platforms for transactional and reporting systems
Focus not only on traditional structured data (e.g., relational databases) but also on unstructured data (e.g., documents) and the intersection and integration of the two

About You:
Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in either Information Systems or Computer science
10+ years of experience with integrated real estate investment accounting and management systems (Yardi Voyager preferred)
Minimum of 15 years technical experience as a developer Demonstrated ability to gain approval and communication of architecture solutions and direction to varying levels of staff and management
Demonstrated ability to lead collaboration and consensus building among diverse groups
Lead roles on cross functional teams for major systems deployment
Expert level data modelling in private markets (real estate equity and debt preferred)
Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle
Expert in maintaining MS SQL and/or Oracle databases including creation, data management, backups, security and performance tuning
Experience supporting 3rd party vendor applications and interfaces
Experience with Windows webservers (.Net. and IIS)
Well rounded individual capable of performing several roles having ability to work in a fast paced, complex IT environment
Personal qualities: Possess a strong work ethic, self-starter, creative, a focus on customer service, possess a high level of energy, enthusiasm, excellent written and verbal communication and people skills, sense of urgency, team player, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and commitment
