Reporting to the Campus Manager, Kirkland Lake Campus, this position is one of several Employment Consultants/Job Developers responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring activities related to the full suite of Employment Services within the Employment Options Emploi program, funded by Employment Ontario. The incumbent is responsible for:
Delivering the following components of the Employment Options Emploi program assisted services: the overall Client Service Planning and Coordination which includes Job Search, Job Matching, Placement and Incentives, Job/Training Retention, Job Coaching, Second Career, Canada Ontario Job Grant and any other program the organization acquires;
Service decisions, monitoring, service coordination and referrals;
Program marketing, participant and employer recruitment, pre-screening, intake and assessment, career advising, training plan development, job matching and placement of participants, file documentation, statistical collection, evaluation and follow-ups;
Workshop delivery as required and;
Regular Ministry and partner reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:The incumbent must possess the following:
2-year Diploma in Human Services or Business;
Minimum three years’ experience in career and employment guidance and counselling, job placement and community presentations;
Experience in an environment where analysis and assessment of client needs and barriers was required;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; and
Bilingualism is an asset.
A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
The incumbent may be required to provide a criminal reference check.
