Engineer Intern (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical or Nuclear)

The internship is located at the Callaway Nuclear Energy Center. The position will begin in May 2019 and end in August 2019
Perform a variety of tasks in accordance with good engineering practices and ensure the safety of the public and plant personnel is maintained.
Key responsibilities include
Learn and understand how a nuclear power plant is designed, operated and maintained.
Job assignments could include work in Engineering Systems/Programs, Design/Projects or Regulatory Affairs/Licensing departments.
Other duties as assigned
Education: Undergraduate of Junior or Senior status in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Nuclear Engineering Program at an ABET accredited university.
Will consider students in a graduate engineering program as well. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.
Good analytical, communication, and human relations skills; adaptable and willing to learn; Works effectively as part of a team.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Office, Excel, etc.)
Security Screening and Background Checks required for Callaway Plant access.
